The Blue Beast is not quite living, and not quite alive, and eternally enslaved to the Dark Woods Circus where he is forced to perform against his will. Not that he has much of a will any longer. Broken and deformed he longs for a death that will never come to him. He continues to perform, like a broken puppet, so he can entertain his 'Master' the audience, which is anyone but the other circus performers.

He resembles a fresh corpse that has not quite begun to rot yet, his pale skin possessing a grayish-blue tint to it. His teeth are all quite sharp and jagged. He also is almost never seen not wearing his gaudily decorated strait jacket, or the heavy leather collar and chain.

He is also a cannibal. He eats the flesh and drinks the blood of humans. The circus forced him at first but he has grown to love the taste, much to his own disgust.
